A boiling hot classic

This was the first day we were riding just with the team. Still a bit tired from the 1st stage we had breakfast together, ready for another long stage along the roads of several of the Belgian ‘classics’.

The sites and cols were familiar as we spent a long training weekend there and rode most of the spring classics. We were riding at a pretty good pace which Mischa, our last non team supporter to ride with us, can confirm. After following us for about 150 km he decided to hand in his bike and take the bus. This meant he actually missed the hardest part, with de Col de Stockeu needing to be conquered around km 200. Although we were tired non of us had to ride too much in the ‘red’ so we could look back at another good day in the Tour for KiKa.
